AchillesAchilles, a famous Trojan warrior in Greek Mythology, was known for his tremendous strength. Achilles was the son of Peleus and Thetis. Thetis attempted to make his son immortal, but proved to be unsuccessful. Achilles' heel, his one weakness, was shot during the Trojan War and caused him to die. The Achilles Tendon came from the story of Achilles and his vulnerable heel.

The Wooden HorseAfter a long 10 years of war, the Greeks pretended to surrender to the Trojans. They made a large wooden horse which they would give to the Trojans. The Trojans did not know that there were Greek warriors in the horse ready for battle. The Trojans opened the gates of Troy and the warriors jumped out of the horse and all the Greeks came in following them. The Greeks killed many Trojan men and took the women back to Greece with them.
